Sample pages...

This book contains twenty-four pages,
plus an illustrated title page and a colophon,
each measuring 13 x 9 5/8 inches.
Every page is illustrated with handprinted
lithographs in soft tones of gray, tan or green.

The text, set in sixteen point italic Monotype Bembo and printed in dark gray, is superimposed on the illustrations which bleed to all four edges of each page. The type on the title page, first page and last page, is enriched with the addition of a second color.

Rives heavyweight cream-colored paper is used throughout, except for the title page, which is printed on natural color Gampi Torinoko. French and Japanese papers were selected as appropriate to the Impressionist period.

The moss green cloth-bound tray case has a blind embossed leather spine. The Gampi Torinoko case lining and the paper label set into a debossed square on the cover, are overprinted with additional images of Les Collettes.

Limited to forty copies and five proofs. Signed and numbered by the artist. 1998. Out of print.
